Wakesurfing is a newish water sport that has been taking off over the last 10-15 years. Behind the right kind of boat with the right technology,  the wake is so large that it is a surfable wave. Generally, people get into the wave with a short, <20 foot rope, and then when the wake/wave develops, you can steer into it, throw in the rope, and surf a never ending wave! We liken it to ocean surfing, without practically everything that makes ocean surfing so difficult- no tides to learn, reefs, sharks, changing conditions, paddling out through the break- just you and your own personal wave- and better yet your friends are right there to cheer you on!
